How to Create a Listing
1. Create an account.
It's free and easy. Describe your property, list the game available to hunt, and add photographs.
2. Set your rates.
Set your own rates. You have full control over your pricing structure. Please note that in order to mitigate fraudulent listings, Hunt Private does not accommodate reservation deposits.
3. Choose your availability.
Set your property's available dates and maximum number of hunters allowed. If for some reason your property is unavailable for a period of time, simply cross it off the calendar. You can do this at any time should unexpected events arise.
4. Host guests.
You choose which requests you want to host. If someone sends you a request that you don't want to accept, simply deny the request.
5. Get requests.
Your property is ready to start making money for you! Be sure to monitor your email. Sportsmen will start sending you booking requests.
Payment Policy
Hunt Private does not collect any banking information. Funds are held with our third-party payment processor, Stripe, until a booking has completed. To protect our hunters, payments will go out at the completion of each booking.
Insurance
We want both landowners and hunters to have positive experiences, but we understand that things happen sometimes. We strongly encourage all landowners listing their properties on Hunt Private to carry insurance to cover any potential incidents that could occur while hosting guests. Host hunters on your property with peace of mind.

Q: Will Hunt Private tell me how to run my property?
A: Absolutely not! Your property is your property to manage as you see fit.
Q: Will I be able to communicate with hunters prior to their hunt?
A: Yes. Once you have booked a property, you will be able to message the hunters directly through your Hunt Private account.
Q: How will I be notified of requests?
A: Once a hunter requests to book your property, an email will be sent to the email address you signed up with notifying you of their request so be sure to monitor your email!
Q: How quickly will I get paid for a booking?
A: Hunt Private uses Stripe as a third-party payment processor. If you enable deposits for your listing, the deposit will be an instant payout. The remainder of your earnings will pay out after the first day of a booking. If you choose not to enable deposits, the full payout will go out after the first day of a booking. Please note that the first transaction may take up to one week to reach your account but gets faster with each following transaction.
Q: In the past I have required deposits prior to a hunt. Can I require a deposit through Hunt Private?
A: Yes! Landowners and outfitters can now set a required deposit percentage. These deposits are non-refundable.
Q: If I list my property on Hunt Private, can I still host hunts outside of the platform?
A: Yes, but this will require schedule updating on your end. If you book a hunt independent of Hunt Private, simply go into your property listing and edit your property’s availability to reflect those days as unavailable to book. To keep everyone safe and give hunters the best experience, Hunt Private requests that landowners do not book hunts independently on the same days you are hosting guests who have booked through Hunt Private.
Q: Do I have to meet hunters at check-in or check-out?
A: Nope. This is your property to manage as you see fit. If you choose not to meet the hunter as they enter your property, please ensure they have all the information they need to access your property as well as any other relevant information to keep them safe and maximize their experience.
Q: What happens if I have a negative experience with a hunter?
A: Hunt Private offers two-way reviews. This allows you to rate hunters who come onto your property as well as for them to rate you and your property. This keeps everyone honest since these ratings are public. It also helps other landowners when they get requests from hunters.
Q: What if I have a stricter cancellation policy than Hunt Private?
A: When you list your property, there is section for you to input this information. Hunt Private’s cancellation policy states that hunters can receive a refund if they cancel more than 48 hours prior to their scheduled hunt. If your cancellation policy is stricter, please note this on your property’s page and that will take precedent.
