About Hunt Private

Founded in Texas, we had the same difficulties finding accessible hunting lands as many other people across the country. Texas is primarily made of privately owned lands with small amounts of public hunting lands. By seeing vast amounts of beautiful, privately-owned land that we had no access to, we identified a unique opportunity to build a platform to open the gates for increased hunting opportunities for sportsmen.

At Hunt Private, we long to connect sportsmen and landowners nationwide. We believe that not only is hunting a necessary piece of conservation, but it is also a means to protect and preserve North American farm and ranchland. By connecting these two communities, farmers and ranchers can continue to fuel and enhance their operations while also opening brand new doors to the hunting community.

Most of us have noticed a consistent spike in inflation, property taxes, and overall cost of living. Among those affected is the farm and ranch community. Because of this, we are seeing more and more small and mid-sized farm and ranch owners being forced to sell their land due to unsustainable conditions and inability to keep their operations funded.

At Hunt Private, we believe that farmers and ranchers are among the foundational members of our society. We want to promote and preserve this way of life, and we believe that offering unique hunting opportunities can open new doors for all.

Hunt Private is an online marketplace where farmers, ranchers, and other property owners can list their land and offer hunting opportunities. By doing so, landowners create a new source of income to persevere through rising inflation and property taxes. For sportsmen, this marketplace allows you to see available hunting lands, communicate with landowners, and seamlessly book hunts for your desired dates.

Respect for landowners’ properties is of the utmost importance. To sustain these opportunities, sportsmen agree to respect the properties they hunt and abide by all state and federal laws as well as abide by all landowner restrictions and requirements within the limits of the law.

Hunt Private charges a booking fee at checkout to ensure that no unnecessary income is taken from the landowners.

By booking hunts and listing properties with Hunt Private, both sportsmen and landowners agree to not hold Hunt Private liable for any damages or injuries to persons. Additionally, booking through Hunt Private does not negate the sportsmen's legal obligation to purchase any necessary licenses.
